Day 248  – 251 – Good For the Soul Kinda Day – Friday, September 30 to Monday, October 3, 2016 – My plans today actually started yesterday when a best friend from high school called and invited me to have lunch…

Day 252 – My TUESDAY Tips and Tidbits – October 4, 2016 – Seriously, where do the days, weeks and months go? Not to mention, the weekends? Since it’s Tuesday already, I thought I’d share some tips and tidbits on restaurants, beverages and leftovers.

Day 253 – Exercise Buddy or Excuse Enabler – October 5, 2016 – When it comes to choosing a workout partner, there are many pros and cons. On one hand, having a friend commit to an exercise routine with you can be motivating; on the other hand, not so much.

Day 254 – Thursday Weigh-In and More – October 6, 2016 – It’s good to make some progress the past two weeks with my weight loss and as mentioned earlier this week, I’m finally into a size 12 jean!

Day 255 – 268 Thursday Weigh-In and Tennessee Trip – October 7-20, 2016 – Two weeks have gone by since I last posted to my blog. Once again, we made a trip to Tennessee to look at various towns and homes…

Day 269-272  NEGATIVE Free Weight TRAINING – October 21-24, 2016 – I have been working out using hand-held, free weights off and on for decades.

Day 273 LOSE Weight and INCREASE Confidence – October 25, 2016 – If there is one thing that I’ve gained from losing weight is that ~ as my weight has dropped, my confidence has increased.

Day 274 HALLOWEEN Candy SCARES Me – October 26, 2016 – When Halloween week comes creeping, I start to cringe. Not so much because of ghosts and goblins lurking in the shadows but due to the scary stacks of Halloween candy lurking in the stores.

Day 275 Thursday Weigh-In and Halloween Happenings – October 27, 2016 – Tonight was our Jazzercise Halloween class and party. It was a lot of fun and more people than ever dressed up!

Day 276-279 I need a NEW Kinda NORMAL – Friday thru Monday, October 28-31, 2016 – Albert Einstein is broadly credited with exclaiming “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.”

Day 280 Can you get TOO MUCH Exercise – Tuesday, November 1, 2016 – Is it possible to get too much exercise? Dinner is over and as I sat down to write this post, I said to my husband, “At least we don’t have to walk tonight. Besides, I’ve had enough exercise today.”

Day 281 – CARE Package to SELF – Wednesday, November 2, 2016 – My niece is away for her first year of college. When she first arrived and settled in to her college dorm, she sent a text out right away to let us know that she had a “mailbox.”

Day 282 Thursday Weigh-In and Weekly Recap – November 3, 2016 – It is almost 10:30 PM as I sit down to write this blog post and share my weigh-in for this week.

Day 283-286 Monday, Monday, Cold Got Me Down – November 4-7, 2016 – Have you ever felt perfectly healthy one day and then wake up the next day feeling down? That’s how my Monday started.

Day 287-293 GET a LEG UP on the HOLIDAYS – November 8-14, 2016 – Turkey day is only a week away. It’s time to think about the upcoming holiday meals and how we are going to combat the many calories and pounds that not so graciously await us.

Day 294 – BUTT Weight is Better Than BELLY Weight – November 15, 2016 – To tag along with yesterday’s post, I want to talk about why carrying excess weight in our butt can be less of a health hazard than having a big belly.

Day 295 What Pray Tell is DEAD Food – November 16, 2016 – I thought I’d heard it all about food until I came across an article in the recent issue of the AARP magazine. Mind you, I’m not sure why we have an AARP magazine in our house. We are not members, we are not 65 (yet) and we don’t subscribe to the publication.

Day 296 Thursday Weigh-In and Weekly Recap – November 17, 2016 – Two weeks have gone by since I posted my weight and if I had my way, I wouldn’t post it today. I’ve stalled again. It is extremely hard to write blog posts and hold myself accountable when I do not have a weight loss to report. You probably think I’ve been asleep at the scale these past few weeks.

Day 297-300 My LOVE of EGGS – Friday thru Monday, November 18-21, 2016 – It’s no secret that I love to eat eggs. In fact, I probably consume a dozen eggs a week. My favorite way to eat eggs? Over easy, please.

Day 302 Early Thursday Weigh In and Thanksgiving Thoughts – Wednesday/Thursday, November 23-24, 2016. Most of us have a busy day ahead with Thanksgiving tomorrow, so I decided to post my weigh-in today. I’d also like to share some Thanksgiving Thoughts from perhaps a different perspective. I hope you can take a few minutes to read what I’ve shared below (after my chart).

Day 303-307 Food is Everywhere – Thursday-Monday, November 24-28, 2016 – I love food. No secret there. Who doesn’t love food? Personally, I don’t know of anyone who doesn’t eat every day. Yesterday, I ate food. Today, I ate food. Tomorrow, I’ll eat food again.

Day 309 – Keeping it Real – Wednesday, November 30, 2016 – I received a really nice response to my post yesterday Day 308 Nuts about Chocolate Hazelnut Spread from “Sue.”

Day 311 – More Food, More Fun – Friday – Monday, December 2-5, 2016 – As we were running errands today, we drove past a local restaurant and in the window were the words, “More Food, More Fun.”

Day 312 – Unfortunately, I can’t do EVERYTHING – Tuesday, December 6, 2016 – The statement, “Unfortunately, I can’t do everything”, rang in my ears as I sat there eating lunch with Mom. It is Tuesday afternoon, around 2:30 PM, and the weekend and the past couple of days have been a whirlwind for everyone in my family.

Day 313 – Turning a Promise into Reality – Wednesday, December 7, 2016 – This afternoon, our neighbor and friend took Mark out for his Birthday dinner and I got to tag along too. Mark was offered three restaurants to choose from and he chose Katana’s, a buffet.

Day 314 – Thursday Weigh In and Weekly Wrap-up – Thursday, December 8, 2016. It has been such a busy week, so I am only going to post my weight and recap this weeks post.

Day 315-318 – Listen and You Will Hear – Friday – Monday, December 9-12, 2016. Are you a good listener? Do you pay attention when someone is speaking? Or, are you thinking about what you want to say and so you only half listen.

Day 319- When ALL ELSE Fails – Tuesday, December 13, 2016. As I sit here trying to think about what to blog about tonight, I thought to myself, “When all else fails, and I have writer’s block, I’ll just write about my day.”

Day 320 – Your Call is Very Important to Us – Wednesday, December 14, 2016. If the words, “Your call is very important to us” rings a bell, then you know what it’s like to be on hold for a long period of time with your telephone to your ear or your cell phone on speaker.

Day 321 – Thursday Weigh In and A Little Christmas LOVE – Thursday, December 15, 2016. The 12 days of Christmas this year has been 12 days of trips to the hospital or nursing home minus one day of rest.

Day 322-325 – Holiday Wrap-Up – Friday – Monday, December 17-19, 2016. Just touching base to let you know that this will be my only blog post for the week. I wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy Hanukkah.
